April 2024

I passed my Ph.D. qualifying exam and transformed from a Ph.D. student to a Ph.D. candidate! I'm very happy to have passed this milestone in my Ph.D. journey successfully and had a lot of insightful input from my exam committee members. On to year 4!

May 2022

I won my first poster award from the Ellison Institute of Transformative Medicine's graduate student poster session! I'm proud to be a collaborator of EITM and will be returning in the Fall to give a talk about my research!

October 2021

I was elected into the publications board committee for the Society of Mathematical Biology. I'm very excited to be working with other great people in my field across 5 different time zones to work on the SMB website.

July 2021

I was accepted as full participant to the 2021 PhysiCell Workshop & Hackathon. I had a great time collaborating with other PhD students and Post-docs on helping expand this open-source software.

April 2021

I received a USC Viterbi M.S. Award from the Dept. of Biomedical Engineering. I had the opportunity to attend a remote ceremony and was introduced by my PI, a great honor! Check out the video here .

May 2021
